Reebok continues to bring back its OG ’90s basketball silhouettes, heralding back to an era in which Reebok dominated the sneaker industry. Along with Allen Iverson’s Answer DMX and Shawn Kemp’s Hurrikaze II, Reebok is taking the Shaq Attaq out the vault, dressing the sneaker in a new “LA to LA” colorway that pays homage to the big man’s dominance from Louisiana to Los Angeles.
The Reebok Shaq Attaq “LA to LA” comes in black, purple, and gold, a color scheme used by Louisiana State University, where Shaq played in college, as well as the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA team Shaq played with from 1996 to 2004 and won three consecutive championships. A couple OG details include the Pump technology on the tongue and Shaq’s name and Dunkman logo embroidered on the back of the heel.
