Original Story (03/02/22): In 2006, LeBron James laced up a Player Exclusive pair of Nike LeBron 4s in a “Fruity Pebbles” colorway inspired by Bron’s favorite cereal. This kicked of a “Fruity Pebbles” series of LeBron releases, most recently featuring the “Magic Fruity Pebbles” LeBron 19 Low. Over 15 years later, the ’06 PE will now be hitting retailers, according to reports.

The PE version of the “Fruity Pebbles” LeBron 4 featured a white Foamposite shell upper with a colorful Fruity Pebbles design on the midsole and sock liner. Each section of the translucent outsole also featured a different color of the rainbow: yellow, orange, red, green, blue, purple. The 2022 release is expected to look just like the ’06, with possibly some minor difference. This release marks the first retro of the LeBron 4 line since its initial run.

The Nike LeBron 4 “Fruity Pebbles” is currently expected to release this December on SNKRS and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.

Update (11/13/23): Originally expected to release in 2022, the Nike LeBron 4 “Fruity Pebbles” has now been confirmed to release in Spring 2024. Stay tuned for further updates.
