After introducing the LeBron 19 last year, Nike Basketball is now gearing up to launch its Low counterpart in multiple colorways. Kicking things off is a special “Magic Fruity Pebbles” edition.
Created in partnership with Post to celebrate National Cereal Day, this LeBron 19 Low features a milk white upper with graphics of the red and yellow cereal dressing the inner bootie. The tooling includes clear Air Units that change color to purple when exposed to light. Additional features include a yellow Stone Age-style Swoosh on the toe, Magic Fruity Pebbles branding on the inside of the left tongue, and cartoon versions of LeBron and Fred Flintstone on the insoles.
For those unaware, Fruity Pebbles is named after the Flintstones’ daughter, Pebbles. The limited edition “Magic” version turns the milk purple, inspired by Dino, the Flintstones’ dinosaur pet. Specially marked boxes of Magic Fruity Pebbles are starting to hit shelves, which offer a chance to win a pair of these LeBron 19 Lows and a 20% discount on Nike.com.
This release marks the latest in the series of “Fruity Pebbles” Nike LeBron footwear, kicking off in 2006 with a special PE of the LeBron 4. Since then, the cereal theme has hit various models over the year, including the LeBron 11, LeBron 12, LeBron 13, and LeBron 15.
The Nike LeBron 19 Low “Magic Fruity Pebbles” will be available on March 7th (National Cereal Day) via SNKRS. Check out the official images below.
