It’s been over five years since Nigel Sylvester’s last Jordan shoe release, and anticipation for his next project is at an all-time high. Exclusive F&F projects like the “Bike Air” Air Ships have only added to this excitement. The wait is almost over, as we now have a first look at an upcoming 2024 Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan release.
In a clip shared by jeweler Greg Yuna, the BMX star provides a detailed look at a new version of the Air Jordan 4 called the Air Jordan 4 RM (Remix). Keeping the tooling of the OG Jordan 4 intact, this RM version features drastic changes to the upper. For one, it’s now a low-top instead of a mid. Also, the TPU wings and multi-channel lace locks are gone, swapped out for a one-piece TPU cage that wraps around the heel.
Nigel Sylvester’s collab on the model comes in a Pro Green colorway and features special “Bike Air” branding on the heels and tongues. Nubuck is used for the majority of the construction, though there is also ripstop elements applied to the tongue and heel.
A few weeks back, Nigel was spotted in a different colorway of the Jordan 4 Remix in a black and grey color scheme similar to the “Fear” Air Jordan 4. This colorway appears to be an upcoming GR (non-collab) iteration.
