Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Gold” Celebrates 35 Years of the AJ4

Original Story (01/16/24): Jordan Brand is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4 with the release of a fresh “Metallic Gold” colorway, dropping as part of the brand’s Spring 2024 retro lineup.

This women’s exclusive premium offering has a similar aesthetic to Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Jordan 4, as they both feature Sail leather construction across the uppers. This new colorway, however, comes equipped with metallic gold lace locks, inspired by the four-part “Metallic Pack” from 2020. The netting, sockliner, backtabs, and midsole all come in a Sail hue for a clean, monochromatic look, and the Jumpman logo debossed on the tongues add a premium touch.

This colorway marks the second Air Jordan 4 to drop in 2024 as part of the silhouette’s 35th anniversary, following up the “Bred Reimagined” releasing in February. A retro of the OG “Military Blue” AJ4 is also on the way.

The Women’s Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Gold” drops this March on SNKRS and at select retailers. Grab an early look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
