LaMelo Ball takes his “Not From Here” motto seriously. His signature shoes with PUMA often embrace this out-of-this-world theme, sometimes with galactic colorways, other times with alien-like designs. His next MB.03 collab takes matters into a different reality entirely, the world of Dexter’s Laboratory.
In collaboration with the ’90s Cartoon Network classic, the Dexter’s Laboratory x PUMA MB.03 features extreme bold graphics and textured dayglo details inspired by the cartoon boy genius himself. A psychedelic, multi-colored swirl covers the majority of the uppers, contrasted by a separate black-and-white swirl on the tongues and heels. We also see Dexter and his sister Dee Dee on the tongues, while underfoot is a speckled black NITROFOAM midsole. The kicks will be joined by an eleven-piece apparel collection, which includes a ’90s nostalgia-inspired dime jacket and pants, hoodie, shorts, and graphic tees.
Of course, this is not the the first time Melo and PUMA have turned to sci-fi cartoons for inspiration. The “Rick & Morty” MB.01 continues to be a fan-favorite from the PUMA MB series.
