In 2021, UNION Los Angeles celebrated its 30th anniversary with special collaborations throughout the year. One of the collaborators was A BATHING APE, fitting as UNION was one of the first stores outside of Japan to carry BAPE product. Now in 2023, the two streetwear OGs are reconnecting yet again for another 30th anniversary collab, this time in celebration of 30 years of BAPE.
This latest offering features a mash-up of logos, the main graphic created by taking the halo from UNION’s Frontman and adding it to the BAPE APE HEAD. This collab logo is featured on coach jackets, offered in black and olive, as well as on the selection of graphic tees. Other graphics featured throughout the collection include the STA star and the BAPE motto “APE SHALL NEVER KILL APE.”
The UNION x BAPE 30th Anniversary collection drops December 9th at A BATHING APE stores, on BAPE.com, and at UNION LOS ANGELES and UNION TOKYO. Check out the lookbook and product shots below.
