Nike is finally giving the Air Ship a proper retro run.
The Air Ship is famous for being the shoe Michael Jordan wore during his rookie season in 1984. In 2020, Nike brought the model back as part of the “New Beginnings” pack, marking its first ever retro release. This was followed by a limited release of a Jordan Air Ship Pro. The Air Ship is now releasing in multiple colorways over the next few months, including this “University Gold” colorway.
The Air Ship “University Gold” comes equipped with a white leather upper with golden yellow hits on the Swoosh, ankle collar, and laces. Nike Air branding appears on the back of the heels, while underfoot is a white midsole and golden yellow outsole. Other colorways on the horizon include “Game Royal,” “Team Orange,” and “Pine Green.”
