Nike Air Force 1 “LA Flea” Release Date

Original Story (03/23/22): Nike is celebrating 40 years of the Air Force 1 in 2022 with various special releases such as the Stüssy Air Force 1 Mid and the Air Force 1 High Vintage. Also on the way is an Anniversary Edition for the city of Los Angeles.

The Air Force 1 Los Angeles Anniversary Edition is equipped with uppers constructed from sail canvas, paired with textured weave quarter panels and quilted nylon around the ankle. Other details include seams with large cross-stitching, a cross-hatched heel tab, thick twisted rope laces, and bright orange flower embroidery, likely a nod to the California poppy, the California state flower. A graphic of the California poppy also appears on the insoles with “Los Angeles” in cursive blue. The tongue tags are elongated to fit “Anniversary Edition” branding and come in blue to match the side Swooshes.

Update (07/02/22): Nike has officially announced the release of the “Los Angeles” Air Force 1. Officially dubbed “LA Flea,” the DIY look is inspired by the open-air flea markets of Los Angeles that breathe new life to vintage pieces. These drop July 16th on SNKRS in men’s, women’s, and kid’s sizing.
