Official Look at the 2024 Nike Air Force 1 “Linen”

Original Story (09/12/23): The Air Force 1 has been treated to a rich amount of colorways, collabs, and variations since launching in the early ’80s. There’s one highly-coveted classic in particular that will be making a big return and sure to give OG sneakerheads something to look forward, the Air Force 1 “Linen.”

The “Linen” AF-1 made its first appearance in 2001, released as a Japan-exclusive as part of Nike’s CO.JP series. Many consider this shoe to be their personal favorite AF-1 colorway, including Ronnie Fieg, who partnered with Nike in 2016 to retro the shoe, making it available only at Kith Miami’s grand opening celebration during Art Basel.

This coveted pair is now being retro’d once again, except this time it will receive a wider release. The 2024 retro is expected to look the same as the previous retro and is even rumored to have the same style code as the 2016 release. Expect the shoe to be equipped with a tan premium leather upper, a pastel pink swoosh, a true white midsole, and a pink outsole.

The Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” is expected to drop sometime in the summer of 2024 on SNKRS and at select Nike retailers. Make sure to stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
