Louis Vuitton x Timberland Collaboration Revealed

Pharrell Williams has cooked up a special footwear collaboration with Timberland as part of his second collection with Louis Vuitton.

Ahead of Louis Vuitton’s Wild West-themed Men’s FW24 Paris Fashion Week runway show, Skateboard P took to Instagram to reveal a Louis Vuitton version of the Timberland 6-inch boot. While the boots may appear as regular “buttas” at first glance, closer inspection reveals a ton of unique details. LV branding appears on the tongue, subtle monogram print is debossed across the nubuck upper, the LV monogram is lasered on the inside of the tongue, and monogram-shaped traction appears on the outsole.

Following the initial unveiling of the 6-inch boot, additional styles from this collaboration were revealed. There’s a version of the boot that features a monogrammed brown leather ankle collar, and another that comes in a triple black colorway. A fourth version features monogrammed brown leather across the entire upper and gold LV hardware on the inside of the tongue.

The 6-inch boot is not the only silhouette in the collection. There are also duck boots, a cowboy-like boot, and a super high boot reminiscent of Timberland’s “40 Below” Super Boot.

The LV x Timberland collaboration feels like a natural follow-up to the LV x Nike Air Force 1 collaboration from Virgil Abloh’s SS22 collection. Timbs and AF-1s are both NYC staples, and there’s a good chance of finding bootleg high fashion versions of them on Canal Street.

The Louis Vuitton x Timberland collection is slated to drop in Fall 2024 via Louis Vuitton stores and on the LV website. Grab a preview below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
