Levi’s and Los Angeles-based luxury fashion brand ERL are back this Spring 2024 season with their second collaborative collection.
The new collection is comprised of five light wash denim pieces with slight tonal variations, continuing the sun-faded California vintage aesthetic that was established with their first offering in 2023. Distressed edges and burnished tin shanks add to the vintage vibes, while zig zag stitching and embroidered ERL branding in neon orange showcase Eli Russell Eli Russell Linnetz’s signature playful aura.
Highlighting the collection is the denim overall, featuring a wide, baggy leg with pintuck side striping, a reference pulled from the baggy shorts in the last collection. This new take on the classic silhouette foregoes the standard chest pocket for a more simplified look.
The bootcut jean features a shape that combines ERL’s signature fit (narrow at the top, looser at the knee and leg) with the classic Levi’s 517 fit. Details include side seam slits for added flare, a distressed waistband, an ERL wave stitch on the back pocket, and a printed white Two-Horse Pull emblem in place of the traditional leather back patch.
The washed out denim vest references a Levi’s silhouette from the ’70s and features a slightly longer cut, zig-zag stitching at the seams, and a triple-lined shaggy sherpa interior. Meanwhile, the denim dress comes shaped like an A-line straight hem dress and features a row of fasteners running down the middle. Rounding out the collection is the denim purse, designed to emulate upcycled jeans with features including a 5-pocket design and padded interior.
Levi’s x ERL Spring 2024 launches worldwide on May 9th and will be available on Levi.com, the Levi’s app, select Levi’s Stores, and ERL global retailers such as SSENSE. Grab a preview below.
