Exclusive: Backstage with Ksubi at Juice WRLD Day 2023

Fans from far and wide congregated in Chicago this past weekend to celebrate the life and legacy of Juice WRLD at the third annual Juice WRLD Day concert. The event, held at the United Center every December in honor of the anniversary of Juice WRLD’s passing, highlights the everlasting impact of the artist and how many lives he’s affected with his music. Fans were treated to live performances by artists such as Trippie Redd, Polo G, and Don Toliver, as well as to unseen video footage of Juice WRLD, bringing both tears and smiles to the faces of those in attendance.

Modern Notoriety was granted exclusive all-access to the event, courtesy of our friends at Ksubi. We got to hang out with the brand backstage at their gifting suite, where performers could select from a curated selection of Ksubi pieces to take home. This included apparel from the second Juice WRLD x Ksubi collection that pre-launched this weekend exclusively at the Ksubi store in Chicago. Fans globally will be able to purchase pieces from this collection starting January 18th.

Check out photos from the Ksubi gifting suite down below, as well as our fit checks with Lil Blessin, PFG Nuk, and Cole Bennett. You can also revisit our live coverage thread here.

Lil Blessin rose to fame this year with the remix to his breakout hit “Likka Sto” featuring Travis Scott, BIA, and G Herbo. The Chicago rapper’s quick ascent has left fans speculating if he is an “industry plant,” a term that Lil Blessin has adopted for the name of his upcoming project.

PGF Nuk’s street anthem “Waddup” received a remix with Polo G last year and quickly became a hit, with the music video receiving over 91 million since its release.

Lyrical Lemonade founder Cole Bennett was “very very comfortable” at Juice WRLD Day 2023. All is Yellow, Lyrical Lemonade’s first album, is set to release on January 26th.
