Jordan Brand is celebrating Chinese New Year in 2024 with a “Year of the Dragon” pack that showcases a variety of the brand’s footwear silhouettes.
Comprised of nine styles, the collection’s star is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG with it’s scaly green overlays that are made to look like the scales of a dragon. The hits of green are paired with sail, gold, and burgundy, and this color scheme is applied to every shoe in the collection. Other details tying each shoe in the collection together are special graphics (on the insoles and sometimes on the inner tongues), custom boxes, and special metallic hangtag charms that come in red envelopes, like the one’s traditionally given as gifts for Lunar New Year.
The AJ1 Low OG is accompanied by Jordan Brand’s latest flagship signature silhouette, the Air Jordan 38, dressed primarily in burgundy with jade green hits on the laces and midsoles. Two women’s exclusives styles are offered: an Air Jordan 1 Low SE and an Air Jordan 2 Low. Three mash-up hybrid silhouettes are also included: the Jordan Spizike Low, Jordan Legacy 312, and the Jordan Stadium 90. There are even a couple of kid’s exclusive styles, including a GS Air Jordan 1 Low OG and a Jordan 23/7 for toddlers.
The Jordan Brand CNY “Year of the Dragon” pack is now available in China, though a wider release is expected on January 24th via Nike.com and select retailers. Check out the complete lineup below.
