Original Story (05/17/23): First released as part of the “Metallic Pack” in 1985, the ‘”Metallic Burgundy” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is making a return in Spring 2024. This will mark the first time this specific colorway has been retro’d, finally joining previously retro’d colorways like the “Metallic Red” and “Metallic Navy” from this pack. However, this release is a bit more special, as this time, the “Metallic Burgundy” colorway is being placed on the AJ1 High ’85 silhouette, making it truer to the OG release.
This upcoming “Metallic Burgundy” retro comes covered in smooth white leather and features a striking metallic burgundy finish on the ankle collar and swoosh. Additional deep red accents are found on the outsole, Nike Air branding on the tongue, and the Air Jordan ball-and-wings logo on the ankle flap.
