By now, you’re probably familiar with the PUMA Mostro, the experimental Y2K-era silhouette that creative partners like Aries and A$AP Rocky have reimagined in recent collabs with the sportswear brand. The revival of the Mostro is just the beginning, as PUMA’s archive is filled with boundary-pushing designs, many of which have been forgotten and are just waiting to be brought back.
One of these designs is the PUMA Talon, which German fashion label NO/FAITH STUDIOS is set to reintroduce with their first PUMA collaboration. Originally launched in 2004, the PUMA Talon draws its inspiration from the claw of a bird of prey, featuring an aggressively low profile with sharp lines extending from the rubber outsole up onto the closed mesh upper.

NO/FAITH STUDIOS has taken this silhouette and reimagined it with its signature avant-garde aesthetic and strong focus on denim and leather materials. Opting for a sleek, all-black look, the shoe features black denim uppers with wavy stitch lines, paired with molded TPU overlays and a black leather sockliner. Additional features include an asymmetrical lacing system and NO/FAITH STUDIOS branding on the tongue tags.
The NO/FAITH STUDIOS x PUMA Talon is slated to drop this summer on the NO/FAITH STUDIOS website. Grab an early look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for release updates.
