Jordan Brand is bringing back the iconic “Ferrari” colorway of the Air Jordan 14 as part of the brand’s Summer 2025 retro lineup.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith, the original Air Jordan 14 released in 1998 and featured a sleek, low-profile aesthetic inspired by Michael Jordan’s beloved Ferrari 550 Maranello. Nods to the supercar included deluxe quilted uppers referencing referenced Ferrari’s Italian leather interiors, tire-inspired rubber heel panels, and a Jumpman-branded shield on the lateral mimicking Ferrari’s prancing horse badge emblem.
In 2014, Jordan Brand took the Ferrari inspiration even further, replacing the quilted leather uppers with a seamless red suede, complemented by yellow and black accents. This “Ferrari” colorway also featured chrome and carbon fiber detailing on the midsole, adding to the sportscar look of the shoe. Over ten years later, the Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari” is back, true to its original 2014 release.
The Jordan 14 “Ferrari” will be available June 11th in adult sizing and for the first time, grade school sizing. Catch them on SNKRS and at select retailers. Grab an early look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more updates.
