Ye, Tyga & More Star in Y/Project FW24 Lookbook

After Y/Project founder Yohan Serfaty passed away in 2013, the Paris-based label could not have picked a better designer than Glenn Martens to take over as creative director. Over the years, Martens took what was essentially a diffusion line for Serfaty and developed it into the darling of luxury fashion that it is today.

Today, Y/Project unveils its Fall/Winter 2024 collection, which serves as a celebration of Martens’ 10-year anniversary with the label. In lieu of a traditional Paris Fashion Week runway show, Y/Project chose to release the lookbook online, and man is it star-studded. Martens enlisted some of his famous friends to model the pieces, including the one and only Ye (fka Kanye West), who is accompanied by fellow music artists Tyga and Charli XCX. Other notable names include Mia Khalifa and Irina Shayk, as well as various members of the fashion industry, such as Interview Magazine editor-in-chief Mel Ottenberg and Purple Magazine co-founder Olivier Zahm. Glenn Martens’ own father Matthias even makes an appearance.

Revealed as part of the collection is a footwear collaboration with Salomon Sportstyle on the Speedcross 3 silhouette. Y/Project has covered the upper of the trail running shoe in a scrunched-up, breathable mesh, matching the design language of the baggy jeans and baggy heels found elsewhere in the collection. The project will be available in two colorways: black with hits of red, yellow and blue, as well as in all grey.
