Original Story (02/13/24): Last released for NBA All-Star in 2018, the classic Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” will be making its return in 2024 as part of Jordan Brand’s ongoing “Reimagined” series.
According to SoleSavy, we can expect the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement Reimagined” to have the same build as the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined” that released in 2023, meaning it will have a shape closer to OG form and less bulky than the 2018 pair. The BC3 Reimagined is also expected to feature a thinner elephant print design and less tumbled leather on the upper, other details that were also present on the WC3 Reimagined. As far as what exactly will make it “Reimagined,” it is currently unclear if it will feature a yellowed midsole like the Reimagined WC3s. However, the materials are expected to remain the same as the OG, and not switched out for nubuck or suede.
The Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement Reimagined” is expected to arrive Holiday 2024 on SNKRS and at select retailers. These will come in full family sizing. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety as we await further details.
Update (03/12/24): According to Sole Retriever and Sneaker Files, the 2024 Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” will not be Reimagined as previously reported and will instead be true to the OG 1988 release. Expect these to have the same shape and build as the 2023 “White Cement Reimagined” pair except with no aged details. Current expected drop date is November 23rd.
