Original Story (05/22/20): Thrasher’s 2018 Skater of the Year is poised to release a new shoe with adidas and Fucking Awesome. Tyshawn Jones has teased the shoe via Instagram and included a special request in the caption.
The golden yellow shoe features “Fucking Awesome” branding in big letters on both sides of the shoe, wrapping around the heel. Accents are black and are included on the lining, laces, and branding. The midsole consists of a black section on top with a gum-colored lower section and outsole.
There are no release details of the shoe just yet but Jones said he would drop at 1 million comments on Instagram. Currently, he has just over 8,600 so no telling when we’ll get these.
This would be the second high profile collab skate shoe from adidas recently following the announcement of the Puig shoes with Palace Skateboards. Stay tuned for more information about this release and check out Jones’ IG post below.
