Japanese footwear label SUICOKE is back with a new collection for Fall/Winter 2023. Titled “PINNACLE,” the new offering continues the brand’s exploration of technical outdoor footwear across sandals, boots, slides, and everything in between.
Leading the pack is a brand-new sneaker style called the TRED, equipped with SUICOKE’s new RUN.2 outsole for superior traction. There’s also new iterations of the high-cut BOWER boot and low-cut PEPPER, the former with a faux fur makeover and the latter dressed in premium suede. The Vibram Furoshiki line also returns with new colorways of the cloth wrap-inspired styles that SUICOKE introduced last year.
The lookbook for the collection was shot in Verdens Ende – aka “The World’s End” – situated at the southernmost tip of the island of Tjøme in Norway, as well as a large section of the outer Oslojford. Photographer Alvin Santos captures Oslo’s relationship with nature, specifically the vast open sea, its tapestry of islands and glaciers, and breathtaking coastlines.
