STAPLE has unveiled the second installment of its collaboration with Cole Haan: the ØriginalGrand Wingtip Oxford and ØriginalGrand Ultra Wingtip Oxford.
After defying convention with the 5.ZERØGRAND styles last month, STAPLE goes a bit more traditional this time around, offering modern silhouettes that take inspiration from the classic Oxford shoe. The ØriginalGrand Wingtip Oxford is crafted in earthy suede and is cushioned with Cole Haan’s proprietary GRANDFØAM™ footbed innovation for ultimate walkability.
The Ultra Wingtip Oxford goes a step further, equipped with a high-volume dual-density GRANDFØAM™ footbed that provides a soft initial feel, followed by plenty of energy return on each step. Additionally, the internal stretch knit bootie provides a cozy, sock-like feel. The upper on this pair is dressed in a light cream suede with debossed camouflage pattern. Both pairs are finished with brogue accents and the STAPLE Pigeon logo in silver on the lateral heel.
The accompanying campaign imagery was shot on the rocky shores of Montauk, New York. The images display a sense of calm and clarity achieved after the hard work of climbing to reach new career heights. The captured moments of pause and reflection express how the ØriginalGrand Oxford is relaxed, but certainly not inactive.
