adidas is celebrating the city of Los Angeles and its beloved hometown baseball team with a special colorway of the Ultraboost 5.0 DNA.
Uppers on this Ultraboost feature Primeknit in a mix of blue, green, yellow, and orange hues, the same colors as the seats at Dodger Stadium. Each of these colors have a special meaning to Angelenos. The blue seats were inspired by the ocean and blue skies. The green represents the landscape surrounding the stadium. The yellow seats are a nod to Los Angeles’ world-renowned beaches, and orange is for Southern California’s year-round sunshine.
As part of this release, adidas has created a limited run of posters featuring artwork by LA-based creative studio Down The Street that uses the same color palette as the Ultraboost 5.0 DNA. 100 of these limited edition posters will be given away to fans at the adidas flagship store in Los Angeles.
