2023 marks the 125th anniversary of Saucony. To celebrate this impressive milestone, the Pennsylvania-based footwear company has been releasing special product throughout the year that pays homage to their origins in the Keystone State. Fresh off the release of the “Good Manner Raccoon” Shadow 6000, Saucony is now dropping a ProGrid Omni 9 inspired by Pennsylvania’s historic Crystal Cave.
Located just outside of Saucony’s hometown of Kutztown, Crystal Cave is known for its abundance of crystalline formations that has attracted visitors for over 150 years. Saucony draws inspiration from the geology of this tourist attraction to create a metallic colorway of the ProGrid Omni 9. It features a gem-like iridescence across the upper, accomplished through a distinctive anodizing technique. Each pair also comes with crystal-inspired graphic insoles and custom packaging.
The Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 “Crystal Cave” will launch exclusively via Sneaker Politics on October 14th, followed by a global release on October 20th via Saucony.com and select retailers. Check out the pair below.
