COVID sent many industries and events to a screeching halt. One of which was the anticipated Tokyo Summer Olympics. With life slowly resuming to its original pace and the Olympics officially starting next month, many of Nike’s Olympic releases that were first revealed early last year are now seeing the light of day. Among the releases are collaborations with AMBUSH and UNDERCOVER, as well as new releases from Jun Takahashi and Nike’s Gyakusou running line. Check out what’s in-store below and expect to see the collection’s roll out in July.

AMBUSH

Made in partnership with Nike, the Tokyo-based fashion label announced a new iteration of its Dunk High collab. The latest iteration, teased by Yoon Ahn herself, boasts a “Flash Lime” colorway. Yoon also took to Instagram to share looks at a Nike sweatsuit of neon yellow and hot pink proportions, first revealed at last year’s Future Sports Forum event, which matches the upcoming “Flash Lime” Dunk High as well as February’s “Cosmic Fuchsia” pair.

UNDERCOVER

Nike and Jun Takahashi’s Undercover are releasing a collection called “UNDERCOVER BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION” also referred to as UBA. The Dunk High in the collection sports a red leather upper, black overlays, and white mid and outsoles. “UBA/Undercover Basketball Association” finds itself on the lateral ankle while more branding is on the medial and insoles. As for the apparel side of things, the brand revealed a UBA jacket and pants set with various compartments and design elements. The backside features “UBA/Undercover Basketball Association” branding and a Swoosh placed above back pockets.

Gyakusou

Nike and Undercover’s Jun Takahashi’s labor of love, Gyakusou, is joining the lineup. The running set chooses a royal blue as its main shade, broken in with black contrasting. The bottom half uses a similar palette, with each leg taking on a different color. The chest spells “Gyakusou” in white block letters. The ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2 silhouette also makes an appearance, revealed last year in blue/black, with additional colorways in red and burgundy recently surfacing.
