New Balance Dresses the 610 In Cow Print

When you think of New Balance’s most popular colorways, plain ol grey is at the top of the list. Throughout most of the brand’s history, NB has kept their colorways subdued and neutral, letting the silhouette’s design and craftsmanship do most of the talking. Bold animal prints are not a common sight on New Balance sneakers, so the unveiling of this upcoming “Cow Print” 610 was a welcomed surprise.

Designed by Yue Wu, the creator of New Balance’s “Refined Future” series (aka “Protection Pack”), the New Balance 610 features a cow fur leather upper dressed in off-white with black spots, paired with tonal rugged suede overlays. A touch of brown appears on the ankle collar, as well as on heel of the midsole. The design of 610 silhouette itself is rooted in ’00s trail running, exemplified by its rugged, C-CAP cushioned midsole, its pull tabs on the tongue and heel, and its rope lace-up closure.

The New Balance 610 “Cow Print” drops on Friday, November 17th on the New Balance website and at select retailers. Check out official images below.
