Chicago’s Joe Freshgoods has officially ended his sneaker free agency. The West Side designer announced his New Balance signing earlier this month with a post from his winter vacation in Turks and Caicos that shows off his new custom “NB” ring.
The ring, made by Chicago’s Torres Omar Jewelers, appears again in Joe’s latest Instagram post. While out in Paris for Fashion Week, Joe snaps a shot of his kicks to give us a first look at an upcoming Don’t Be Mad x New Balance collaboration.
This colorway is set for a February release, most likely during All Star Weekend. Sneaker releases from fellow Fat Tiger Workshop co-founders Des and Rello are also on the way. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
Update: Here’s a clear look at the Don’t Be Mad New Balance 992. The mixed material upper sports various shade of pinks and reds, contrasted by a tan leather tongue and light blue laces.
