Legendary motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson and Japanese streetwear brand NEIGHBORHOOD have teamed up for a limited moto culture-inspired apparel collection.
Shinsuke Takizawa founded NEIGHBORHOOD in 1994 and based the brand around his interests in various subcultures, including punk and motorcycle culture. On the flip side, NEIGHBORHOOD’s motto, “Craft with Pride,” resonates with Harley-Davidson, also priding themselves in their excellence craftsmanship.
The collaborative collection fuses motorcycle culture with streetwear and combines the heritage logos of both brands. Highlighting the offering is a racing jacket crafted from durable, high-density SOLOTEX polyester twill with an anti-static polyester taffeta lining. It comes adorned with a bold skeleton appliqué on the chest and arms, though is also offered without the skeleton motifs for a more subtle look.
Other apparel styles in the collection include hoodies, a long-sleeve tee with skeleton graphics, and two short-sleeve tee designs. A handful of accessories round out the collection, including hats, a mug, and a sticker pack.
The NEIGHBORHOOD x Harley-Davidson collection launches on Saturday, November 19th on neighborhood.jp, the Harley-Davidson website, and at ComplexCon 2022 in Long Beach, CA. Check out the campaign imagery and product shots below.
