Since their first drop in June 2020, BAPE and COMME des GARÇONS have been coming together for a new collab collection every season that combines motifs and iconic graphics from the two brands.
This partnership continues in 2024 with a new offering for the SS24 season, a collection inspired by the concept of urban work and an industrial aesthetic. Hickory stripes bring this concept to life on the rain jacket, shorts, and panel cup, while the use of chambray fabric on the short-sleeve button-up shirts continues the theme.
Graphic tees feature BAPE’s iconic APE HEAD logo. The first design features three logos lined up in a row with COMME des GARÇONS branding underneath. Green embroidery is used on the black colorway and pink embroidery on the white using neon-colored thread. This color scheme is also applied to the two pairs of collaborative socks.
The second tee features a bold oversized APE HEAD with made from with COMME des GARÇONS branding. The faded look of this graphic evokes a hand-printed aesthetic. Co-branding is overlaid atop the APE HEAD and adds a bit of color to the tee, blue on the black colorway and red on the white.
The collection will be available starting April 13th exclusively at BAPE STORE COMME des GARÇONS Osaka. The hickory striped rain jacket and shorts will be available in June. Check out the lookbook and product shots below.
