Original Story (09/28/23): Bad Bunny keeps delivering not only with new music but with new sneakers too.
The Puerto Rican superstar is in the midst of a peculiar rollout for his latest adidas shoe, a new “Ecru Tint” colorway of his Response CL collab. We’ve seen Bad Bunny rocking this shoe a few times, most recently in the music video for his new song “UN PREVIEW.”
The pair, dressed in soft cream and earthy brown hues, was given a unique launch, dropping at cowboy boot shops across the globe: Aperos 4J in Caguas, Puerto Rico; Zapatería El Tigre in Mexico City; Allens Boots in Austin, Texas; and Corbetos Boots in Barcelona, Spain. This special release was announced through a cowboy-themed video campaign that was briefly shared by Bad Bunny on his socials before being deleted. Wanted poster-style ads for the release also appeared in the local newspapers.
Following the initial launch, Bad Bunny is now hinting at another drop. In a now-deleted Instagram story, Bad Bunny shared a mysterious teaser pic with a date and time, coordinates, and the message “Di hello, y pregunta por Las Paso Fino” (“Say hello and ask for Las Paso Fino”). Based on the info on the pic, this drop is scheduled for September 30th at 11am in a remote location about 40 miles northwest of Manhattan.
What exactly is going down this Saturday in Harriman, NY is not clear, but our guess is that there will be horses involved. “Paso Fino” (literal translation “fine step”) is a breed of horse that is known for its smooth strides, making them good for riding. The equestrian-themed rollout may also be Bad Bunny showing some love to his girlfriend Kendall Jenner, as her affinity for horses is well documented. The couple was even spotted riding horseback together back in April.

Also, an update on what went down on September 30th. Those who traveled to the specified coordinates were treated to an immersive experience at the horse stables of The Arden House in Upstate, NY. Pairs of the “Paso Fino” were available at the unique activation.
