adidas TERREX x and wander Is Designed For Outdoor Adventures

Japanese label and wander and adidas TERREX have teamed up for a collaboration based on their shared love of the outdoors. The collection is inspired by the need to connect with nature and features functional clothing that blurs the boundaries between city wandering and exploring wildlife.

The apparel and accessories in the sustainable collection include down jackets, fleece jackets, hiking pants, hiking socks, bucket hats, and backpacks. The assortment of items is made with adidas COLD.RDY technology, a breathable material that keeps warmth locked in and moisture out so clothes can stay dry during harsh winters. Both the down jacket and fleece jacket display an eye-catching lightning print with a reflective design.

The adidas TERREX x and wander collaboration also includes two colorways of the adidas TERREX Free Hiker 2. The shoes feature BOOST technology on the midsole, a breathable sock-like fit, and reflective detailing. The supportive sneaker is also sustainable as the shoe is made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic, a material created from upcycled plastic waste that was intercepted from beaches and coastal communities.

“Inspiration for the collection came from a short film produced in the 1970’s, which revolves around the theme of the relationship between humans and nature, the collections concept and feeling evolved from there,” says and wander co-founder Mihoko Mori.

“It has been refreshing to work with a brand that does things so differently but with an equal amount of care,” says Keita Ikeuchi, co-founder of and wander. “We share the same amount of passion for nature and the outdoors as adidas TERREX so the collaboration has felt like an extension of what we do at and wander.”

The adidas TERREX x and wander collection drops Tuesday, November 1st on adidas.com, the Confirmed app, and via and wander. Check out the campaign imagery below.
