Jordan Brand is back with another classic colorway from 2006. After bringing back the Air Jordan 5 “Burgundy” this August, the Air Jordan 5 “Olive” is now set to make its return in early 2024.

Like the aforementioned “Burgundy,” the Air Jordan 5 “Olive” originally dropped in 2006 as part of Jordan Brand’s LS (Lifestyle) series. LS launches back in the day were unique in that the Jordans came with matching apparel and were released only at select retailers. Many dope colorways came out of the LS series, and the “Olive” Air Jordan 5 was definitely one of them.

The “Olive” Air Jordan 5 featured an Army Olive green upper with orange accents on the sockliner and midsole, giving the shoe militaristic, bomber jacket vibes. Upon its initial release, fans were calling these the “Undefeated” 5s as they bore resemblance to the UNDFTD x Air Jordan 4s that released in ultra-limited quantities in 2005.

Almost two decades after its debut, the “Olive” Air Jordan 5 is now set to hit shelves once again. The 2024 version looks nearly identical to the OG 2006 pair, with textured suede once again used for its construction. This time, the shoe will be dropping in full-family sizing, making this the first time the shoe will be available in kids’ sizing.

The 2024 Air Jordan 5 “Olive” is expected to release in February or March on SNKRS and at select retailers with an MSRP of $210 USD for men’s sizes. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for additional updates on this upcoming retro.
