Air Jordan 1 High OG “Denim” Dropping June 2024

Original Story (01/03/24): Jordan Brand is once again bringing denim to the classic Air Jordan 1 High OG.

In 2022, the Jumpman dropped a women’s exclusive denim AJ1 that drew inspiration from the LL Cool J song “Around The Way Girl.” Now, as part of the brand’s Summer 2024 retro lineup, the Air Jordan 1 once again gets the denim treatment, only this time the shoe will be dropping in men’s sizing.

Unlike the women’s colorway that featured a mix of leather and denim construction, the 2024 Air Jordan 1 “Denim” features a full denim upper. The white base is paired with light wash denim overlays as well as hits of darker indigo denim on the Swoosh and ankle collar. On the toe box, the usual perforations are replaced with embroidered “dots,” while underfoot is a white midsole with a speckled gum brown outsole.

Note: On the first look images, it appears that the blue dye from the overlays is bleeding onto the white paneling. It is not clear if this is a defect on this specific pair or if it’s meant to be part of the design (like an acid wash effect).

Update (06/01/24): Official images of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Denim” have arrived. The blue dye “bleed” on the white paneling will vary from shoe to shoe, making each pair unique. These drop June 15th.
