Original Story (10/25/21): Jordan Brand will be releasing a new Air Jordan 1 High ’85 in 2022. This slightly higher cut AJ1 is shaped to be more OG-accurate and was introduced in 2020 with the “Varsity Red” colorway, followed by 2021’s “Neutral Grey” pair.
For 2022, the AJ1 High ’85 gets a “Georgetown” makeover, reminiscent of the collegiate “Be True To Your School” pack from 1985. Like the recent “Georgetown” Dunk Low, this Hoyas-inspired release features a grey leather base and navy overlays. Underfoot is a white midsole and navy rubber outsole. As a final touch, the nylon tongues are slightly yellowed for a vintage aesthetic.
The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Georgetown” is currently expected to release in February 2022 on SNKRS and select retailers with a price tag of $200 USD. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
