Original Story (05/25/20): Following the return of the Air Jordan 1 High 85 (and Air Ship) earlier this year to celebrate NBA All-Star Weekend, the classic AJ1 is now returning in one of its classic OG colorways for the first time in 35 years.
The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 saw its return in a black and red “Varsity Red” and a white and red “New Beginnings” colorway, neither of which were OG colorways that released with Jordan Brand’s launch. An OG colorway making its return is sure to cause commotion, as Jordan Brand has been reserved about bringing 85 Jordans back, until now.
The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Neutral Grey” arrives in early 2021 for a retail price of $200 USD. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates on this release.

Update (01/27/21): The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Neutral Grey” has been loaded onto SNKRS with a February 10th release date and a $200 USD retail price. The description reveals that only 23,000 pairs of the shoe were made. Catch aftermarket pairs on sites like StockX and eBay.
Edit: The “23,000 pairs” portion of the SNKRS description has been removed, likely indicating that the shoe may not be as limited as initially believed. This info was likely copy-and-pasted from last year’s “Varsity Red” release.
