Back in June, adidas announced the release of a new foam-based silhouette called the adiFOM Q. According to the brand, its design is inspired by the 2001 adidas Quake. After being revealed in a white colorway, the adiFOM Q has now surfaced in black.
The adiFOM Q “Black” features a black outer shell made up of EVA foam, while the inner bootie is dressed primarily in orange. There is hits of white on the lip of the sock-like collar, as well as black Trefoil logo on the padded tongue.
This 2-in-1 bootie/shell design has become a trend in footwear recently. TOMBOGO and Saucony just launched a similar concept called the Butterfly, while Jordan Brand also has a similar design called the System.23.
