A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 Surfaces in Black

A surprising new update from A Ma Maniére and Nike. Following the release of the six pairs in their “While You Were Sleeping” and the reveal of the F&F Chuck 70, it was believed that the “W.Y.W.S.” drops were over and done with. That is in fact not the case, as a new black colorway of the “W.Y.W.S.” Air Force 1 has now surfaced through official imagery.

This black version of the “W.Y.W.S.” Air Force 1 features many of the same design cues as the recently released Sesame colorway, including premium leather construction, “A” logo perforations on the toe box, “A Ma Maniére” text on the midsole, monogram texture on the sockliner, and “A” logos debossed on the heels. The stealthy all-black look is broken up by white accents on the Swooshes and midsoles, and underfoot is an icy black translucent rubber outsole.

When A Ma Maniére’s “While You Were Sleeping” 10-year anniversary collection was first revealed, The Whitaker Group founder James Whitner mentioned that included seven shoes, though only six were initially showcased. It’s possible that the Converse Chuck 70 is not the seventh shoe as previously believed, as those are F&F exclusive and come with different packaging. These black Air Force 1s, on the other hand, are set to get an official release and come in the same box as the other pairs in the “W.Y.W.S.” collection.
