A Ma Maniére & Nike Reconnect on “For The Love” Collection

In 2024, A Ma Maniére celebrated its 10th anniversary with a “While You Were Sleeping” collection comprised of six footwear styles in collaboration with Nike. James Whitner and his team are now following up that collection with a trio of additional footwear styles, dubbed the “For the Love” collection.

“For The Love” is “a testament to the world’s ever-growing need for unity and connection,” says the Whitaker Group retailer. “In a time when division feels inevitable, we choose to lean into joy, movement, and presence as forces that bring us closer.⁠”

Included in this offering is the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 “For The Love,” featuring a white leather upper with faded black suede overlays and muted blue accents. This is the rumored but never-before-seen initial and intended design for what became the first A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3, “Raised by Women.”

The AJ3 is joined by the all-black Air Force 1 “Hand Wash Cold” and the Air Max 95 “Hand Wash Cold,” a continuation of the Hand Wash Cold story that A Ma Maniére introduced with their first Nike collab in 2019. These pairs symbolize AMM’s commitment to their social outreach program, Hand Wash Cold, built on the ethos of “outreach, care, impact, and support of people and communities with dignity, honor, and respect.”

Accompanying the footwear is the A Ma Maniére Nylon Program, a 4-piece apparel capsule made in Europe and executed on Black Limonta Nylon. It includes a Coach’s Jacket, Reversible Bomber, a Tech Pant, and Cargo Pant.

In honor of this release, A Ma Maniére welcomes you to Maison Maniére, a weekend-long, multi-city activation and “communal experience for all those seeking joy and release.” Registration for Maison Maniére – La Soirée in Washington, DC on March 28th and La Matinée in Houston, TX on March 30th is now open.

Online raffles for each style in the A Ma Maniére x Nike “For The Love” collection will run from March 12th until March 23rd. A Women’s Early Access release will take place on March 22nd from 12pm to 7pm local time in-store only at A Ma Maniére Atlanta, Washington, DC and Houston.

The official launch of the A Ma Maniére x Nike “For The Love” collection and Nylon Program is set for March 29th at 11am ET online at amamaniere.com, as well as in-store at 12pm local time in Atlanta, Washington, DC, and Houston.
