Vault by Vans x Noah Fall/Winter 2021 Collection

Vault by Vans and Noah are back for Fall 2021. Since the birth of their partnership in 2018, the two have steadily dropped collaborations, this time offering a five-shoe collection inspired by backyard ramp days of skateboarding before the rise of street skating and skate parks.

Following their most recent SS21 collab, the Vault by Vans x Noah FW21 collection takes on the Caballero LVT LX and Authentic One Piece LVT LX. The former was designed for Steve Caballero in 1989 and was one of the first pro-model shoes to exist back when ramps were still predominant in the skateboarding scene. Offered in spruce green and black, the model comes dressed in hairy suede with the Caballero dragon found on the lateral quarter. Noah gets some branding in on the lateral heel counter. An UltraCush insole and black, red rubber stamped midsoles round out the construction.

The collection also pays homage to the first deck shoe introduced by Vans in the late 1960s. Originally called the Style 44, now known as the Vans Authentic, the shoe attracted skateboarders all over Southern California for its tough construction and sticky gum sole. For their Vans collab, Noah offers a simplified version of the Authentic, removing all seams from the front toe cap and using one piece of suede for the entire upper. The One Piece is also offered in spruce and black with a third colorway dressed in cashew brown.

The Vault by Vans x Noah Caballero LVT LX and Authentic One Piece LVT LX have a price tag of $98 USD and $88 USD, respectively. Find all five pairs on the Noah website as well as their New York store on September 16th.
