In years past, Vans and Pendleton have teamed up for limited edition executions under the Vault by Vans imprint. The Vans x Pendleton collection for holiday 2015 expands the partnership into a seven-piece range that includes collaborative adult, kid and toddler footwear.
Starting with the adult selection of footwear, Pendleton’s tribal wools are presented on the quarter panels of the Sk8-Hi MTE, across the Classic Slip-On and over the Era lace-up. The Sk8-Hi MTE offers the added benefits of Vans’ all weather technology that includes Scotchgard®-treated uppers, warm linings and an internal heat retention layer for additional support in cold climates. Furthermore, the Sk8-Hi MTE features a unique outsole construction that reverses and extends the Vans waffle pattern into a lug sole platform for maximum grip on wet surfaces. For tiny tykes, the Era is taken down into kid’s sizing while the Sk8-Hi Zip is made exclusively for smaller feet. Modified with a heel zipper and traditional rubber tread sole, the Sk8-Hi Zip is only available in kid and toddler size runs.
