In 2018, four young streetwear fanatics came together to create Supplier, a shop in Tokyo that offers some of the most exciting emerging streetwear brands from across the world. Supplier released its first in-house range in 2020 and is now offering its Summer 2022 collection to streetwear fans worldwide.
Supplier Summer ’22 features some of the brand’s best-selling styles, available outside of the Japanese market for the first time through its international e-commerce store. Classic Americana style icons such as baseball jerseys and caps and collegiate varsity knits are repurposed through a Japanese streetwear lens, while other pieces nod to ’90s SoCal skate and US hip-hop culture. Standout pieces include the cross-chain print hoodies and shorts available in pink and white/blue colorways.
The collection’s campaign was shot on location in Shibuya near the brand’s Tokyo HQ as a celebration of the energy and spirit of Tokyo’s youth-core culture. Pics were taken in the noisy, neon, nighttime streets and arcades surrounding the world’s busiest crossroads, the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing.
