Supreme Drops Eight New Graphic Tees for Spring 2024

There’s nothing more essential in streetwear than the graphic tee. That may be the reason why Supreme drops a capsule every season dedicated solely to the garment. Following the release of seven designs for Winter 2023, the tradition continues in Spring 2024 with eight new graphic tees this time around.

Supreme showcases a diverse array of references and sources of inspiration across the offering. The “Teardrop” tee features the work of the late great Margaret Keane, an American artist known for her paintings of subjects with big eyes. Her works saw a resurgence of interest in 2014 following the release of Tim Burton’s 2014 biopic Big Eyes.

Another artist featured in the collection is Josh Smith, an NYC-based contemporary painter with a career spanning over two decades. The “Paint” tee features a painted red square on the back with Supreme scrawled across it, plus the number 994 in reference to Supreme’s founding year, 1994.

Remaining on the topic of artists, we also have the “Electromagnetic” tee that features graphics pulled from LuYang‘s Electromagnetic brainology! 2017 video project. Meanwhile, the “Collage” tee features the work of Women’s History Museum, an NYC-based artist duo composed of Mattie Barringer and Amanda McGowan.

This drop also features a tee that pays tribute to legendary Southern rap duo UGK and their sophomore album Super Tight. This one may be the most hyped out of the bunch. On the other hand, the most obscure reference we noticed was on the “Tunnel” tee, which features a Supreme graphic that is originally from the back of a 2000 issue of Relax Magazine. The back of this tee even features the phone numbers of Supreme locations in Japan as a reference to the Japanese publication.

Rounding out the selection are two new logo tees. The “Pinline” tee features a vintage-style italicized logo, while the “Records” tee features a logo of an imagined Supreme Records music label.

Supreme’s Spring 2024 Tees drop Thursday, April 11th on the Supreme website and at Supreme locations. Check out the lookbook shot in Shanghai and the product shots below.
