Supreme is back with its seasonal tee drop. Following nine designs for Winter 2021, the NY streetwear brand now offers eight graphic tees for Spring 2022.
The star of the collection is the Lil’ Kim tee with the rapper’s iconic squat photo across the chest, taken as a promo for her 1996 album Hard Core. Kim’s autograph is also printed onto front, while the back features the lyrics from Kim’s stellar verse on Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm”: “Hot Dam Ho, Here We Go Again.”
Other standouts include the two tees featuring the work of British illustrator Ralph Steadman. One features a skull graphic, while the other is a flip on the classic Supreme box logo, covered in a blood-like red splatter. Frequent Supreme collaborator Weirdo Dave lends his touch on the “Pretty Fucked” tee, while the “Person” tee features Gaspard Mermillod’s quote about mothers on the back, though flipped so it reads “Supreme is a person who can take the place of all others. But whose place no one else can take.”
Supreme’s Spring 2022 tee collection will be available this Thursday, April 14th at Supreme locations and on the Supreme website. Available in Japan on April 16th. If the one you’re looking to cop sells out, you can find the tees on secondary sites like StockX, GOAT, and Grailed.
