Following an early look at the Stüssy Chuck Taylor, Converse and Stüssy officially announce the release of their upcoming collaboration.
Stüssy brings its West Coast DNA to two of Converse’s classic silhouettes, the high top Chuck 70 and the low top One Star. Both feature a refined, black hemp upper, referencing the black hemp Chucks that were popular in the ’90s. This is paired with contrast white stitching and no varnish foxing as a nod to classic Chucks.
Stüssy puts its own twist on the star logos found on the All-Star and One Star, embroidering its own design on the lateral sides while leaving remnants of the normal branding on the medials. The Chuck 70 features a hidden Chuck patch at the interior medial, making it appear as if the patch was placed inside out. Other features include custom All Star tongue tags, Stüssy branding on the inside of the tongues, and co-branded insoles.
The Stüssy x Converse Chuck 70 and One Star launch via the Stüssy website on June 10th. A global release follows on June 16th at Converse.com (10am ET), SNKRS, and select retailers. Check out official images of both pairs below.
