Only a couple month after dropping the “Surfman” Chuck 70, Stüssy and Converse are back with a new collaboration.
This time around, the collection revolves around Stüssy’s infamous eight-ball insignia, featured prominently on both the Chuck 70 and One Star Pro. The Chuck 70 opts for an indigo hairy suede upper. The usual Chuck Taylor ankle patch on the lateral side is replaced with an embroidered 8-ball, while the medial side patch is transferred to the interior and left “blank” on the exterior. The One Star Pro is constructed from green hairy suede, with the 8-ball graphic at the lateral and a single stitch tonal star outline at the medial.
The Stüssy x Converse “8-Ball” collection launches this Friday, November 4th at 10am PT at Stüssy stores, the Stüssy website, and select Dover Street Market locations. A wider release via Converse.com is set for Tuesday, November 15th at 10am ET. Check out both pairs below.
