Popular manga and anime series One Punch Man is set to receive a big screen live-action film adaptation, courtesy of Sony Pictures.
The comical action series stars Saitama, a superhero that can defeat any opponent with a single punch. Its popularity has spawned the launch of One Punch Man video and mobile games, with a movie now on the way. The screenplay will be written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, the same writers as Sony’s Venom and Jumanji.
No word yet on a release timetable, but we’ll let you know once production on the film begins.
