It’s not the first place you think of when it comes to shoe capitals of the world, but the sneaker community on Guam is on the rise. Guam is a small island (only about three times the size of Washington D.C.), so you can imagine how tightly knit the sneaker community is there. Recently, the dudes from local sneaker group Sole Pacific linked up with Scion to host the island’s largest buy, swap, and sell sneaker meet at the Atkins Kroll Scion showroom. Highlights of the showcase included a raffle for the highly coveted Nike SB Tiffany His and the Air Jordan 3 from the Fear Pack. The event also featured pop-up shops from Kicks/HI and Opake. Check out what’s good with Guam’s sneaker scene below and stay tuned with Modern Notoriety for more Sole Pacific updates.
