Sneaker Politics to Release Its adidas Forum Low for Free

1

Louisiana-based retailers Sneaker Politics have teamed up with adidas to relaunch the 1984 adidas Forum Low with their own, custom-designed edition of the shoe.

The shoes are a numbered edition of just 500 pairs, which would ordinarily mean arduous launch day wait times and insane battles with bots to secure a pair. However, Sneaker Politics is actually giving away all pairs of the shoes for free by partnering with locally owned businesses surrounding Sneaker Politics locations in New Orleans, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Austin, and Dallas. While precise details are scarce thus far, it seems likely that there will be a charity component to the shoe’s release.

The collaborative shoe is dressed in almost all white, with tasteful suede accents in grey and rich blue seen on the heel and Three Stripes logo. Sneaker Politics’ “Politics” logo is embroidered near the lateral ankle, but the shoe is otherwise sophisticated in its simplicity.

While we wait for more details on the upcoming giveaway of the Sneaker Politics x adidas Forum Low, check out promo photos and a short teaser video for the shoe down below.
