Run The Jewels, the hard-hitting hip-hop duo comprised of El-P and Killer Mike, is teaming up with Nike SB for a Dunk collaboration.
A leaked photo of the RTJ x Nike SB Dunk Low reveals a sky blue leather upper with pink Swooshes and the RTJ hand gun and fist logo embroidered on the heels. Hidden on the Zoom bags on the underside of the insoles are references to the date 4/20, a hint to when the shoe’s are slated to release. One of the Zoom bags reads “JAIMILY 2010” and includes the date 4/20/10. This is a reference to El-P (real name Jaime Meline) and his now-wife Emily Panic, who began dating on that date. Killer Mike also has a connection to 4/20, as his birthday is 4/20/75, the date found on the other insole.
