First seen at the REESE COOPER® SS22 runway show, the Reese Cooper x Merrell 1TRL collection will finally see a wider release tomorrow, March 2nd.
The collaboration features 3 silhouettes in 2 colourways each: MTL MQM, MTL Long Sky 2 and the Hydro Runner.
True to the brand ethos, each of the new shoes is tied to outdoor activity and aesthetic.
The MTL MQM is a performance shoe perfect for technical outdoor experiences. It features a Vibram® Megagrip® outsole that achieves maximum grip on wet and dry surfaces. The upper has a waterproof shell and the laces and webbing are made from recycled materials. The MQM comes in a Hunter Green to match the RCI brand colour as well as a Pirate Black.
The MTL Long Sky 2 is a versatile trail shoe made from breathable mesh and features the Vibram® Megagrip® outsole. It is lightweight and perfect for trail running or a hike. Branded with RCI details and complete with reflective materials for night time use. Inspired by nature, the Long Sky 2 comes in Otter—various shades of brown as well as Clover—a mix of evergreens.
The Hydro Runner is a team favourite as a technical water shoe that can be worn everyday. It is made from an EVA shell that is lightweight and flexible with a breathable liner. The Hydro Runner features RCI branding and reflective details and is complete with a Merrell “sticky” rubber outsole for extra grip. It comes in Pebble as well as a seasonal RCI camouflage, Forest Night.
